The Pump House, Ufton Court, Ufton Nervet, Berkshire
Outdoor Academy is surrounded by 16 acres of picturesque grounds. Ufton Court's former Pump House provides an excellent base for groups, whilst the grounds are home to medieval fishponds, a herb garden and a sunken natural amphitheatre which is still used in the summer months. The many footpaths offer superb walks through the grounds and into
the woodland beyond.
Ufton Court is an educational centre for children and young people. It is run by the Ufton Court Educational Trust, a registered charity established in 2006, which aims to provide an inspiring historical home offering innovative and challenging experiences in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our Pump House renovations . . .
Untouched, in a quiet corner of Ufton Court, stood a derelict building with an impressive history . . .
In May 2008, after being boarded up for over a decade, Outdoor Academy began to inject some life back into the old Pump House. Following completion in November 2008, it will become accessible to young people in the surrounding area and subsequently, the heart of our outdoor educational programmes and activities.
Watch this space for the new Wilderness Renovation Camp – soon to be completed...
