Consider choosing us as your Alternative Education Provider:
Experienced and qualified staff team
We have a great team who work hard to deliver effective outdoor programmes for your students, they are devoted to education and believe learning should be fun and engaging.
Each member of our team are fully qualified to National Governing Body Standards, hold a current First Aid Certificate and an Enhanced DBS Check. We work alongside young people on a daily basis and our work to date has proven that we can achieve desired outcomes in a safe environment.
To assist with the cost of student transport, we will utilise our highly maintained fleet of vehicles to collect your student(s) from a central address and return your student(s) at the end of the session.
As a minimum, all staff have full Standard UK Driving Licences and have completed the Outdoor Academy driver training.
Accreditation & National Curriculum
Your students have the chance to achieve over 50 accreditations which are important to measure student progress, provide a sense of achievement and strengthen the opportunity for future employment.
We also work alongside schools to deliver GCSE Short Course Geography, Practical Art and Practical Science.
You will be provided with a student report to record learning outcomes, underline session feedback, student evaluation and accreditation achievement.
Developed by our team of professionals, reports can be requested for End of Term Reviews or Multi-Agency Meetings and sent to you electronically.
We produce unique photo boards for every session showing the learning outcomes. These photo boards are great for students to see their progress and focus on their achievements.
What organisations say about us
We have developed close links with Pupil Referral Units, Youth Offending Teams and local schools in West Berkshire and Reading to provide alternative education provision to suit their organisations.
This is what those organisations say about us:
“The standards were as high as usual and all young people participated fully enjoyed each activity. We work with vulnerable and challenging young people, engaging them in such activities is no easy feat! Great job guys”
