Accomplishing the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a massive achievement and this week saw the presentation of the Gold Award Certificates at St James’s Palace in London on Tuesday 2nd June 2015.
Under the guidance of our team of professionals, a total of nine from the West Berkshire Alternative Curriculum Service completed the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award last year with five young people collecting their certificate from the palace on Tuesday.
It was a brilliant day for all of those involved and especially for our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Co-ordinator, Sharon Harrod, who said “it was truly rewarding to see each young person collecting the award that they have worked so hard to achieve, their dedication has been faultless and I wish them every success for the future.”
Many congratulations to all those who have completed the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and on collecting the certificates from the palace.
